Menu Plan – June 21, 2010

Since we move in 6 days, we decided to try to use up everything that is in the freezer and much of what is in the pantry.  Our goal is to not have to move any freezer stuff.  Here’s what I came up with:

Saturday past ~ Burgers, Hot Dogs and Salad

Sunday (Father’s Day) ~ Steak, baked potatoes, corn on the cob and grilled veggies

Monday ~ Ham, Noodles and Sauce, Salad

Tuesday ~ Chicken Drumsticks, Rice, Veggies

Wednesday ~ Crockpot Roast, Mashed Potatoes, Veggies, Salad

Thursday ~ Spaghetti with Meat Sauce

Friday ~ Italian Sausage on a Bun, Coleslaw and Salad

Saturday MOVING DAY ~ Pizza, courtesy of the ‘Rents!

That will use up the entire freezer!  WOO HOO!

Today, we discovered that the dishwasher was totally shot…we had informed the new owners of this house that it didn’t work very well and it’s on its way out.  So, I ran out to the dollar store and bought a bunch of paper plates and disposable cups.  Not environmentally friendly, but it will be so much easier on everyone if we don’t have to wash dishes for 10 people every day.

Today we’re tackling packing the upstairs bathroom, Evan’s room, and the girls room.  We’re going to do 2 or 3 rooms a day and should be completely packed by Friday night.

Have a great week everyone!

  1. Well, the plates thing is probably for the better… Now you can just pack it all up. 🙂
